3-Axis specializes in Precision CNC Manufacturing

SURREY, BC – Dec 30th, 2016 – Flashgate Technology Inc. is pleased to announce the completion of the acquisition of the assets of 3-Axis Manufacturing, a provider of precision CNC manufacturing of a variety of materials including wood, acrylic, carbon fibre and exotic plastics. 3-Axis is located in Surrey, BC and the assets acquired include all machinery, equipment, design catalogs, customer lists and inventory.

“The acquisition of these assets gives Flashgate the ability to cost effectively and rapidly prototype new systems and designs for our core business of delivering combined next generation anti-theft, digital-out-of-home advertising and customer data analytics systems into the front entrances of retail stores,” stated Greg Watkin, CEO of Flashgate. “Additionally, these assets will allow us to deliver our production ready final products at lower cost, faster and with better quality than having them produced overseas. Producing here has the added bonus of our patent pending intellectual property not being out of our control at any point in the production cycle. Furthermore, we intend to utilize the extra production time not used by Flashgate to continue to service 3-Axis’ existing customers. This acquisition will be instantly accretive to our earnings.”

The assets of 3-Axis will be incorporated into Flashgate Technology Inc.’s wholly owned manufacturing subsidiary, FG Manufacturing. Besides being responsible for the rapid prototyping of Flashgate system designs and the production of final Flashgate products, FG Manufacturing will be tasked with continuing to service existing 3-Axis customers and grow the precision CNC business.
